How many people graduate college in the U.S.
It's a common point of discussion that college degrees are becoming more and more expected in the United States. But how many people actually have degrees? According to the Census Bureau:
| High School graduate | 27.8% |
| Some college | 17.5% |
| Associate's degree | 10.1% |
| Bachelor's degree | 22.1% |
| Master's degree | 9.4% |
| Doctoral or Professional degree | 3.2% |
NOTE: Persons 25 years and older,
This means that nearly half of U.S. adults have achieved some sort of college degree, and well over half have attended some amount of college.
