*Alvarez was stripped of his WBA title before the fight because he could not make the 105-pound weight limit. Lopez's WBC belt was therefore not at risk for this fight but Lopez did win the suddenly vacant WBA belt with his split decision over Alvarez.
†The bout went to the judges' score cards after Magramo threw Porpaoin to the mat in the eighth round. Porpaoin won the vacant WBA interim title on the technical majority decision.
