Death Toll of Indonesia Tsunami Rises

Deadly Earthquake in Haiti
On October 7, a magnitude 5.9 earthquake struck Haiti, killing 12 people and wounding 188. Haiti is still recovering from the earthquake that hit nearly eight years ago. (CNN)

Flash Floods in Majorca
On October 9, a flash flood in Majorca left at least 10 people dead. Hundreds of responders have rushed to the scene in hopes of saving more missing people. (CNN)

Hurricane Michael Hits
On October 10, Hurricane Michael hit Panama City first, with winds reaching over 80 mph. After hitting Panama City, Hurricane Michael hit Mexico Beach with winds of 155 mph. The beach itself is in ruins. However, by the end of the day, the storm had been downgraded from a Category 4 storm to a Category 3. By October 15, the death toll had reached 19. (CNN)

Deadly Flood in Southern France
On October 15, flash flooding in southern France killed at least 10 people. Three months of rain fell in six hours, causing rivers to flood and roads to be closed. (CNN)

Hurricane Michael Death Toll Rises
