Boden

Boden bo͞oˈdən [key], city, Norrbotten co., NE Sweden, on the Luleålv River; chartered 1919. It is an important rail junction and a winter sports center. Forest products are manufactured, and there is good salmon fishing. Boden has a garrison and is the site of a strategic modern fortress.
