Louis le Hutin. Louis X. Mazerai says he received the name because he was tongue-doughty. The hutinet was a mallet used by coopers which made great noise, but did not give severe blows; as we should say, the barker or barking dog. It is my belief that he was so named because he was sent by his father against the
