PayPal Struggles After Split with eBay

Amazon Now Worth More than Microsoft
On February 6, it was announced that Amazon was worth more than $685 billion, making the company worth more than Microsoft for the first time ever. Amazon now only trails behind Apple and Google. (CNN)

Early Britons Had Dark Skin
On February 9, scientists released further information about the “Cheddar Man” fossil found back in 1903. After a new DNA analysis, it was determined that he “had blue eyes, dark brown to black skin, and dark curly hair." (CNN)

Scientists Race to Find Mate for Bolivia’s Lonely Frog
On February 9, it was reported that scientists are scrambling to find a mate for a Bolivian frog who is feared to be the last of his species. They remain hopeful in their efforts, even creating a Match.com profile for the frog. (BBC)

NASA Breaks Record
On February 9, NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft made history yet again when they released the image it had snapped 6.79 billion miles from Earth. (CNN)

Snapchat to Deliver a New Update
On February 21, Snapchat announced that it would release a new update soon after facing much backlash for its previous update. The company has stated it will update the ‘Friends and Discover’ section of the app. (Reuters)
