Teddy Kollek
Age: 95Israeli politician who served as the mayor of Jerusalem from 1965 until 1993. Known as a bridge-builder between Jews and Arabs after Israel took over Palestinian-controlled East Jerusalem in 1967, Kollek advocated coexistence between Israelis and Palestinians. Kollek also developed the city's cultural landscape, building museums, gardens, and a sports center.
