Dan Devine

longtime major college football coach; capped his career by leading Notre Dame to a national title in 1977; compiled 172-57-9 record in 26 seasons at Arizona State, Missouri and Notre Dame; inducted into College Football Hall of Fame in 1985. He died after a long illness.
