My husband is a sports trivia enthusiast and wants to know who holds the all-time record for stolen bases by a catcher?
The Answer:
Buck Ewing, who played catcher in the majors from 1880-97, is credited with swiping 354 stolen bases during his 18-year career with teams in Troy (N.Y.), New York, Cleveland and Cincinnati.
