Clogher

Clogher klŏkhˈər [key], town, Co. Tyrone, central Northern Ireland, on the Blackwater River. A religious center since St. Patrick's time, Clogher is the seat of a Protestant bishop; its cathedral was rebuilt in the 18th cent. and restored in 1956. The cathedral of the Roman Catholic bishop of Clogher is at Monaghan, Republic of Ireland.
