Surprise! Anger does not drive those howling grrrl rockers. It's the simple cathartic pleasure of performing that makes them tick. That's what filmmaker Apramian has concluded after talking to Love, Jett and members of L7, Babes in Toyland and Lunachicks. In this somewhat fragmented documentary, which is subtitled “An Analytic Approach to the Functions of Music and Gender Deconstruction,” these women prove that girls can rock hard and loud.
