Just another dumb comedy only a notch above a Pauly Shore vehicle, right? Far from it. High School High is loaded with visual gags and verbal jokes that will make even the most crusty curmudgeon chuckle. Rebelling against his uppity headmaster father, Richard Clark (Lovitz) takes a job as high-school teacher at the inner-city (Marion) Barry High. The school has as many problems as its namesake. Clark sees an opportunity to reform the school in Griff (Phifer), a tough kid who has the respect of the other students. It's no easy task and there are plenty of roadblocks, but Clark has the determined help of administrative assistant Victoria (Carrere).
